The Gospel, The Truth and The Purpose

Two (2) of the Characteristics of the truth:

  1. The truth is power but gentle.

The very powerful entities in this world are known to be arrogant and proud. Not so with the truth.

The truth as a matter of fact is the most powerful force in the entire creation. Nothing can stand the power of the truth.

But as powerful as the truth is, it does not force nor cajole people to accept it. This is why the Gospel of Christ is not by force but by choice.

The bible talking about the truth in Rev 3:20 – Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The truth stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. Those who have opened up for the truth can testify of the peace and blessings that accompany the entrance of the truth. Those who reject the promptings of the truth do so to their own peril.
